In this session, David Bowden (Institute of Ideas special projects manager) and Anwar Oduro-Kwateng (Academy promotions manager) will introduce an exploration of realism in the theatre, focusing on Ibsen’s The Master Builder and Shaw’s Man and Superman. Other related texts are Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People and Shaw’s Major Barbara.
